Re: Paddy confirmed at USAP

Furthermore, and simply for clarification, the players were told at UR that they could attend the trial if they wished but they must not go in Ulster or Irish kit of any sort. It was to be clear that they were attending in their private capacity, in their own time, and as friends of the players rat...

Re: Replacement 10

https://www.irishexaminer.com/sport/rugby/ireland-door-stays-open-for-paddy-jackson-and-stuart-olding-472029.html I wondered at the time if it was significant that it was one S Logan, formerly of this parish, who seemed to be dismissing them permanently, but with no confirmation (or denial) of that...

Re: Dan McFarland

It's all agreed, but Ulster Rugby are holding the news to be announced at the best time to push ST sales. That sounds like you're very confident in the above? were you talking to a reliable sauce? Will he be here in August BR? That's the 64 million dollar question. Depends on ST sales. If they go w...

Apparently he was all for staying and he had enjoyed the success of his last 5 matches. Then someone showed him the UAFC pages of the UR alleged supporters and he said with them and SL still in charge I am outa here! We should be thankful Rory, Jacob, Ian and Jared didn't think the same way. Who sa...

Hmmm but surely all self-respecting Ulsterfolk should always be looking back? I can't see this type of thing catching on.

Down with this sort of thing....

Re: Time for UDI?

Guys time to calm down. I dont want any of you to have a stroke on my account. I am a new subscriber, ST holder, renewed ST as soon as they were available, proud to have attended the Ospreys match to support the guys who were on the pitch. Not a troll. Not a bogus account. Identified LK as a disast...

Re: Dan McFarland

9 month notice to leave is a f@cking joke and will come back to bite SRU in the Brennan some time in the future. I know zip about international rugby coaching contracts, but it seems a sensible notice period to me for a coach deciding he wants to up and leave for no reason related to his then curre...

Re: Dan McFarland

Wonder what the legalities are if McFarland just started with Ulster at the start of July and said shove it to SRU I presume they could sue him for breaking contract but would it be worth it financially? There's no way this will go on to January. SRU paying two people to do one job? Not on yer nell...
