I would hazard a guess that the posters on here that are against the directive are those that havent had to deal with a distraught 6 year old kid devastated at not getting to do something that he has been so excited about ... Yes, kids have to learn about competition, but how are they going to learn...

Bogbunny ... yep, the guy picking the team's son did indeed play all 30 minutes ! But that was only one of the 5 kids that stayed on the whole time.

When this post first went up I read it and thought how ridiculous the IRFU directive was to take the idea of winning and losing out of mini-rugby. My son who is 6 has just started mini-rugby this year and one of the things that we hoped that he would get out of it was a feeling of competitiveness. H...

Heard from a mate at the match last night that the lack of activity in the Scirocco works is just to allow the founds to settle and there'll be full steam ahead development on the offices and housing there shortly, so it may be ideal but it is probably too late after all. :cry: The site at Sirrocco...
