The Bridge and The killing are excellent as is the Icelandic drama ,' Trapped'. Also liked the first series of Borgen , but didnt think the later series was as good. Moving to 'Southern climes', I like 'Inspector Montalbano' which is set in Sicily...plots nowhere near as intricate as Nordic Noir stu...

watched ''Give my head peace'' last night ... a prime example of a TV programme returning for a last hurrah/payday and sadly demonstrating that it is well past its ''sell by date''. Even sadder is that the recurring theme of bigotry in the show is still alive and well in ''Our Great Wee Country'' !!

CT you have repeatedly implied/ asserted that Brett Heron has a contract with Ulster Rugby worth 70K plus. Is this 70 K per year or 70K for the duration of his entire contract ?

numbers aren't restricted by dublin, it's a financial.. Agnew/Ward weren't offered full academy spots out of school, which isn't unusual.. they may earn a spot this season. The Kiwis and Aussies have been poaching South Sea Island players for years. To a lesser extent the Saffersalso have been poaching players from Rhodesia/Zimbawe and South West Africa/Nambia. Sports agents for all the big European Clubs are also trawling the South Sea Islands for young players eg the...

I second the Jackman proposal and feel he is becoming a very good coach. However I dont think he will leave the Dragons for a while yet, due to the pending arrival of Moriarty, Hiibard and possibly George North. The Dragons also have unearthed some good young players.
