Re: The Decline of Ferris
Surely the best response the players could do to make a point to Ferris is to just unfriend him en masse. Or stop Conceding 40/50points? That’s the only way they will win respect of former players. This is not a great Ulster side. Our most naturally gifted player by a distance is Jacob Stockdale, a...

I would have Moore instead of Lowry, Wilson instead of O'Toole, and Izzy instead of AOC as others have said but Murphy will probably think differently.

Re: Teflon Man
D4 do care now, and rightly so, when we're running at a loss, we're a parasite draining the coffers. This feeling sorry for ourselves that we don't get the rub from D4 needs to stop, the wow me feeling sorry for ones self, the chip on the shoulder, its pathetic...... the IRFU is a business, if one ...

Re: Teflon Man
I do question what is good about UR non playing staff, who is actually top notch? Bryn I do think has to go, and the main questions about building a great culture are what structures you want, and what people. With Petrie and Bryn it has felt there has been no clear accountability, clear responsibil...

Re: Petrie departs…..
Good luck to him, I hope it goes well. The question that needs to be answered though is what would success look like, what is his remit and what is Bryn's (and Dublin too obviously). I would guess what he would be trying to do is create a great culture with the administrative type people, trying to...

Re: 6 Nations 2024
Was hard listening to the song 'four proud provinces of Ireland' when there isn't an Ulsterman in sight!

Re: Bryn Cunningham in the Daily Telegraph - stop thinking about winning
The question has to be what could Ulster achieve if it was fantastically run and performed as well as it could, players reaching their potential, a great culture about the place, great value from any NIQs. With Cunningham there we don't have that answer, Cunningham out!

Re: Ulster's finances
You are exactly right in all that you say Columbo, can't disagree with any of that. What I would say is that in return for the IRFU 'funding' UR they should be expecting competence, development of the game, and a steady stream of players of a standard to play for Ireland. That UR have failed so horr...

Bryn Cunningham was appointed in 2014, only Coetzee and Piutau were signed in that time out of the above.

Re: Dragons Pre Match Q&A with Jonny Petrie
I mean it can only be Ulster fans that can be drunk off about signing a dual WC winner in their prime right? If it leads to having to dump players all over the place as a result then yeah! If there had have been any medium term financial planning we would never have signed him. I’m all for dumping ...
