Re: Ulster v Cardiff Fri 25th October 7:35pm
WE will have access to a few more players who might make a difference in the backs but AS USUAL IT IS OUR PACK THAT IS UNDERWHELMING. Adding Moore, Herring, Henderson and Murphy is good but they are not goiung to uplift the other guys to new heights - sadly. EOS / McGrath Herring / McBurney Moore / ...

Re: Cheetahs v Ulster Sat Oct 5 5:15pm
This was an Ulster team not Ulster kids team. Complete team looked as if they didnt know what to do. Tackling was non exsistant. Totally inept in every department. How many players are to come in to make a miraculous improvement? Hopefully twenty, I can only think of 4.Disgraceful performance. McGra...

Re: Japan RWC
Little wonder that Cooney moved up North. His undoubted talent was never fully appreciated down South. Marmion and McGrath ahead of Cooney??????? They must be joking!!!!. He has more rugby talent that the both of them put together. Interesting to see if the injury prone Murray gets hurt again what ...

It's instructive that the Irish Independent, a putrid, bigot driven rag, uses every opportunity to bring up, as they libellously call it, the Belfast Rape Trial. No mention of Peter Jackson's great and well deserved result. To mention it would be a kick in the tiny balls that run that piece of brad ...

Re: Injury Update
Feck it. We still have cover at tight head in Kane and O'Toole but are up diarrhoea creek if Moore gets a RWC call up or gets injured. No doubt we would get turned down for a medical sub as we are not Munster.....

I've had a lifelong penchant for Guinness - like many of us I suspect - but I have had my last pint of it. I have two litre bottles of Black Bush to finish and when that is gone I won't be buying any more. Diageo can go ande f8%k themselves. It won't affect them in the slightest but there isn't muc...

Re: Any word on the Academy?
That’s a joke he’s been roped into that, don’t they only get paid like max 23k for playing in all tournaments. Unless he fancies just getting his travelling done and play rugby at same time I think he will become better faster with the 15 aside game but then he might not get many opportunities ther...

I agree. If he was English, French or Welsh he wouldn't be sidelined to 7s.therealspratt wrote:Sexton playing 7s is an absolute nonsense when it could be in or around our Heineken squad next year and I'm highly suspicious that him playing that sport would be better for his development than regular Pro14 gametime.

7s? Yep,hopefully will turn out to be the next Rieko Ioane. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I see the Aussies have a 22 year old in their 7s squad who has clocked 10.1 for 100m I didn't think greyhounds lived that long..... :D Actually if he is that quick he should be in the Olympic squad for oz...

Older members may remember Grant Batty, all black wing from the 70s. 2 inches shorter than Lowry and Williams at 5'5". Feisty wee bugger. Reminded me of Yosemite Sam Yep - he played in the first Ulster match I ever saw - Ulster v All Blacks at Ravers circa 1972 -ish. Have the match programme s...
