Re: Ulster's finances
Brought up on the Shankill and gotta say feel would feel way safer going into a shop on the A-town in an Ulster top (as I have done on many occasions) than a shop on the Shankill in an Antrim Jersey (which I would never do in asane state). Obviously there are idiots on both sides. I've had my tyres...

Re: Petrie departs…..
Kingspan said their products should not be used in the manner installed, Kensington and Chelsea Council pushed for the savings and the contractor went against advice, as did the building control who signed it off. Yes their behaviour has not been good, but they didn't say to use their products in t...

Re: Petrie departs…..
Strangely when one reads another thread on this site dating back to 2009 and candidates for the role of CEO the same Hugh McCaughey is being identified and spoken about as being interviewed then. If so it has been a long journey.. he ticks more boxes than many might think but the job is the job of a...

So,in desperate straits we appoint some aul bluffer who's never actually run a business in his puff. What could possibly go wrong? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk As Gerard says no bigger bluffer than Colonel Logan (lest we forget) his CV was a world of Walter Mitty and still they appointed him....

Re: Petrie departs…..
Best remembered for turning the club into a house investor spending half a million cash on something totally unrelated to sport never mind rugby whilst gurning about the loss of £700k on a match.. Maybe had they not got rid of the groundsmen without replacing them in advance of the cancelled game t...

Re: Ulster's finances
Maybe I have said elsewhere and noting to do with Ulster Finances directly but.. Casement Park doesn’t meet with UEFA standards for a competition said so for months now a few weeks ago the BBC picked it up and covered.. so the design will have to change just for UEFA and nobody else also over £100m...

Ankle again. Pity as he has a lot of potential with a run behind him. A LBP will be a good result against Dobbo's Stormers. Now there's a coach I'd take. Senior players need to stand up- too many MIA. The cubs by and large went well against the Sharks Bokke He has potential but as with others befor...

In terms of props what happened to the much vaunted (signed from Munster) James French except we didn’t sign him from Munster but from some team in France (not named if not mistaken)… as long as Bryn keeps signing this quality of non prop and dresses them as something they aren’t I don’t see any lig...

Re: Richie Murphy - right man for the job?
Irrespective of who we have as coach, if we have to rely on the quality of Lowry, Flannery and Doak at 10 we may as well disband. I think that’s my biggest concern atm. There’s a bit of a feeding frenzy on Ulster atm in the media - I know this kind of turmoil is a good story so in any case they’d b...

Re: Ulster's finances
Oh and UR have seemingly pulled the plan for expansion of the soon to be renamed Kingspan part of the rationale for property development into the neighbouring area. That comes with an assurance from the IRFU that should we ever reach the dizzy heights of a QF we can switch to big brother on the And...
