Payne has got no gas from standing still. It takes him 5-10 yards to get to top speed. cf Olding who just steps and he's there. He only goes past people when he comes into the line full pelt. Mind you he is still the man on the field, but for him and his chivvying just before half-time it could have been 5 points difference and squeaky bum time at the end. Trimble's 2 hits near the end were worth the admission and lifted the team. Having watched the penalty incident on tv it was a ridiculous decision

For me the 3 stars were RP, Cave and Rory, in that order.
