Re: Shoulder to Shoulder

Bits of it were very good, particularly when interviewing the police and army players who'd been directly impacted by the troubles. Seemed to be a surprise to BOD. Some of it was infuriating. The end of the documentary appeared to equate the hardships of the Ulster-based players with BOD's ma hearin...

Re: So what now?

Since the notice of the rearranged fixture, it was on my plans to fly over next weekend and catch the game. I haven't committed because of the uncertainty over the review. If the two/three? are pushed out, then I'm also out. If it is down to the sponsors, I am even more disgusted. As a former BOI e...

Re: Ulster vs. Munster - 02-01-16 - 15:00

Been an awful lot of possession and territory so far, with very little to show. Good discipline from Munster, but we need another score before the half to go in with any sense of confidence

Re: Dirty D'Arcy

Was curious because I thought I'd spotted that when watching last night. Teed up the iPlayer to the moment, but watching again it just looks like a tap of acknowledgement from one former team-mate to another. No power to the dig - just a quick Hello, how are you.

Re: Edinburgh - Round 15

Fair play to Edinburgh. They seem just fractionally sharper then Ulster in most aspects. But we can still nick this if we tighten up the sloppy discipline and dodgy handling. These two turgid, one-eyed Scottish commentators are hard to take. If you're watching on the BBC website you have the option...

Re: Tigers vs ULSTER - Live updates

Well, that was tough viewing. From the second viewing, and with the benefits of the camera and the commentary, a few new thoughts. Big Lewis was abrasive for most of the game and made a nuisance of himself. Payne justified his position, and we didn't see the best of Darren Cave when he came on. Of t...

Re: Tigers vs ULSTER - Live updates

So with gritted teeth I'm looking back at the match via my recording from BT Sport. What I'd forgotten from watching it live, was how ferocious the Tigers tackling was immediately after our first penalty to get themselves back in the game. Up to the 15th minute so far, and I just can't see how they ...

Re: Tigers vs ULSTER - Live updates

So many head in the hands moments last night, and being surrounded by shrill Tiggers fans wasn't helping. As has been said ad nauseum, the lineout simply disintegrated. Why Leicester didn't spend the night kicking for touch rather than kicking to our back 3 I don't know, but it may have been the key...

Well, clearly you can't get a result in Italy. That's a shocker
