Re: Satellite tv coverage 2017-2018
It's difficult to justify a Sky Sports subscription just for rugby. NowTV is an option for the occasional game or there are plenty of dodgy streaming services. I was reading that some of the big US tech companies like Amazon may enter the bidding for the next round of English Premier League rights s...

Re: Any Ulstermen in Adelaide, South Australia?
They probably won't have a clue what rugby is there. It is diehard AFL territory.

Re: All-Ireland bid to stage 2023 RWC
Looks like Paris will be confirmed as the 2024 Olympics venue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Which has no bearing on the RWC I don't know about that... World Rugby may not want the RWC to be perceived as a bit of a sideshow compared to the much bigger event the year after. There has been some ...

Re: The Scottish
So will the SRU be picking these 6 teams from the existing national league teams? (the likes of Boroughmuir and Melrose) Or will they be setting up completely new teams? If the latter, I can't see these brand new teams getting much support. If the former, expect the existing teams to hate the idea ...

Re: A little bit of politics folks`
Hey Rooster, I'll probably regret asking this question but I see that esteemed minister for international trade, Liam Fox, says he is open to importing chlorinated chickens, hormone-fed beef and GM food from the US as part of a future trade deal. What is a chlorinated chicken? Is there a swimming po...

Re: Jono Gibbes - New Head Coach
I was just scanning the photos of Ulster's pre-season training. Gibbes looks like a big fecker... or is this deceiving and he looks big because Les Kiss and Dwayne Peel are midgets? I think he's a large lump of a man alright. Looking through those pics there was one guy I didn't recognise. He looke...

Apparently the Sky "everything else" sports channel will be called Sky Arena.Cornerfleg wrote:Is Logie selling any naming rights to a Sky Channel?

Re: SupaDoupa Cup now BT exclusive
Feck that. I won't be subscribing to BT Sport just for the Not-the-Heineken (I've just checked... if you have Sky and don't have BT Broadband, it is £22.99/mth for 3 months then £27.99 /mth) I don't have BT Broadband and refuse to change to that as well. I'll be cancelling Sky Sports subscription as...

Re: The Big Gay Cake
My view is that religion is about control. Or at least there is a large controlling element of many religions. Especially Christianity. There is a lot of 'don't this or this will happen'. It's basically a negative consequence feedback loop. Of course if you do fcuk up, God will forgive you so you'r...

AFAIK the guy in front of the Maybot is Gavin Williamson, the tory chief whip. He was portrayed as a bit of a Malcolm Tucker enforcer type in the BBC's "Theresa v Boris" program the other week.
