HEC Group 2012/13

HEC groups have been decided by a number of ways over the years. The first way was for a bunch of blazers to meet behind closed doors and decide the groups between themselves, presumably with lots of horse trading.

Then a seeding system was introduced consisting of the first ranked team from each country who could not be drawn against each other.

Since the 08/09 HEC, there has been a full seeding system based upon ERC rankings. The rankings are based upon results in the last 4 years of ERC...

Ulster’s remaining RaboDirect PRO12 fixtures confirmed

The dates and times of Ulster’s remaining regular season RaboDirect PRO12 fixtures have been confirmed.

The Province will travel to Scotland in Round 20 on Friday 18th April to take on Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun with a 19:35 kick off.

Round 21 will see Ulster host Leinster on Friday 2nd May at Ravenhill Stadium, kick off 19.30.

Ulster will finish their regular league campaign away to Munster at Thomond Park on Saturday 10th May, kick off 18.30.
