We arrive at Christmas, out of the play-off places in fifth place in the league, out of Europe and with many of our top line players injured. So, how has it been for you?
In the words of dancing luvvie, Craig thingamyjigger “Disaaaaaaaaaastaah daling”, but hey maybe I’m a drama queen, maybe others are quietly happy.
To assess Ulster’s performance to date you either say, these guys are professional, WTF is going on or you take some account of circumstances. So...
And so, as has seemed almost inevitable since allowing Tigers to escape from Ravenhill for the first time with anything but a real hiding, we to the home of the perennial big English club.
No team has so consistently been at the top of their domestic game & lifted so many trophies as Leicester Tigers. They are the epitome of the big bully in the biggest of school-yards, the self-confessed toughest league in the world, the PRL.

Standing on the brink – glory at last or no cigar?

Having arrived at the first natural break of the season, it seems like a good time to review what has been almost a perfect start to the season. Seven League wins & 2 Heineken Cup wins for a 100% record is without question a start none of us could claim to have foreseen. Sadly it has also been touched by a tragedy which seems to have driven the team onwards united.
Apart from the obvious joy of our position, the second best feature is the sight of our biggest threat, Leinster, languishing in...
